*“Yalla Azhari”... A Heritage Tour Combining Entrepreneurship with Nablus’s Identity*
The Community Resource Development Center, affiliated with the Nablus Municipality, organized a historical tour for participants in the “Azhari” platform for women entrepreneurs—an experience that combined exploring heritage with fostering a connection to the city’s cultural identity.
The participants were accompanied by Ms. Nora Jardanah, the center’s heritage activities coordinator and tour guide, who provided them with an overview of Nablus’s history, landmarks, and cultural stories.
The significance of this tour lies in providing a space for networking and exchanging experiences outside the workplace, strengthening bonds among female entrepreneurs, and exploring the opportunities for creativity that local heritage offers—as well as developing ideas and projects inspired by the identity of the place that highlight its authenticity.
Entrepreneurship is inseparable from the community in which it thrives, and heritage is a source of inspiration and opportunities that can be built upon to create a more creative and sustainable future.
